DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\nMississippi’s premier Kids Triathlon will be at Reunion Village Green. \nWe will have two kid’s age groups\, a Junior division (6-10) and a Senior division (11-15). The entire race takes place within the Reunion neighborhood.  New to triathlon? Only have a mountain bike\, hybrid bike\, or road bike? This is your opportunity to explore a new adventure and new sport! Be sure to check out the volunteer portal so that you can help with the race as well.  We are also having the adult triathlon\, Double Dash\, immediately following the MS Kids Triathlon again this year!  Sign you and your kids up today! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlace\nReunion Village Green\nMadison\, MS US 39110\n\n\n\n\nPacket Pickup\n\nPacket pickup will occur on Friday before the race from 4:00pm – 6:00pm and the morning of the race from 6:00am until 7:30am at Reunion Village Green. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\nRegistration will be $60 for the MS Kids Triathlon. Onsite registrations will be accepted on Friday\, August 8th\, 2025 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm Only. SUMMARY:Hannah Pote Run for Education 5K & 1 mile fun run
DESCRIPTION:Hannah Pote was an outstanding SHS student athlete who was tragically killed in a car accident on December 18\, 1997. This race was established to honor Hannah’s tremendous spirit and love of Starkville High School. Funds raised will directly support teacher and special school project grants within the Starkville Oktibbeha School District \nRace start at 8:00 am \n\nRegistration Information\n\nOnline registration is available through Thursday\, August 13. Race day registration is available on the morning of the race between 6:45 – 7:45 (5K cost is $30 for all\, 1 mile run cost is $10). \n\nThe Course  \n\n\n\nThe certified 5K features a very flat\, fast road course with traffic control and starts at 8:00.\nThe 1-mile fun run is closed to traffic on a flat\, out and back course and starts at 9:00.\nProceeds benefit the Starkville Foundation for Public Education. \n\n\nPacket Pick-Up\n\nPacket pickup day of race only – at race site between 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. \n\nAwards  \n\n\n\nThe overall male & female and overall male & female masters\nwill be awarded a trophy. \n1st\, 2nd\, 3rd place will be awarded in the following categories: \n10 and under\n20-29\n30-39\n40-49\n50-59\n60-69\n70 and above \nAll 1 Mile Fun Run finishers will receive a medal. \n\nEvent schedule  \n\n\n\n\n6:45 AM – Registration begins ($30 on race day)\n7:45 AM – Registration ends\n 8:00 AM – 5K starts\n9:00 AM – 1 mile fun run starts\n\nRegister Here
