Heart & Sole Half Marathon- 10K-5K

You know we like to change things up a little not to be so mundane. This year we will be starting and ending our race again at the NEA Baptist Hospital is the biggest change participants need to know at this time.

There will be USTAF certified 13.1, 10K and 5K courses with a mix of rolling hills and flat areas. The course will be well marked and have volunteers and activity on the course. Police will be present at highly traveled intersections and leading the 13.1 race.

Half-Marathon & 10K participants must sign up as runners. The half marathon will have a 3 1/2 hour time limit, which is a 16 minutes/mile. If you are not keeping the pace you will be asked to come off the course.

The 5K course has walking and running categories. The walking category participants must not run on any of the 5K course.

Powerade, water & food will be throughout the course. Participants can have their own water/food with them.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICK-UP

Participants living in Craighead County must and Out of County & State participants can pick up packets & t-shirts on Friday.

Pick Up will be a drive through and participants must stay in their car. Packets will be given to drivers through their car window on Friday, September 27, Noon-6:30:00 pm, by the big tent at NEA Baptist Hospital, 4800 E Johnson, Jonesboro, AR 72405.

Please do not call the hospital and ask questions about the race-they will not know.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE YOUR MEDAL AT THE FINISH LINE IS AUGUST 19.

LAST DAY TO REGISTER AS A RACE PARTICIPANT IS SEPTEMBER 15.

NO LATE OR DAY OF REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Our featured Hotel is Courtyard by Marriott which is directly across from NEA Baptist. The Heart & Sole room rate is $99. This will include fruit and granola bars for you to grab before you leave for the race on Saturday morning. On Friday evening the Bistro and Bar will be open from 5-10 pm if you would like to eat there.
